1. Manju Warrier

Manju Warrier is a South-Indian film actress, born on November 1, 1978, in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, to an accountant father and a homemaker mother. She completed her schooling from Chinmaya Vidyalaya and further from Chovva Higher Secondary School, both situated at Kannur. She graduated from SN College, Kannur. Manju was only seventeen when she made her debut in the film industry with ‘Sakshyam’, a classic Malayalam drama directed by Mohan.At the age of eighteen, she worked in ‘Sallapam’, a love story by Sundar Das. In the first three years of her career, she was awarded for her work in four major films. First is with the film ‘Ee Puzhayum Kadannu’, a drama thriller starring Dileep in the lead role, won her the Kerala State Film Award, Filmfare, and the Screen-Videocon Award.

2. Sandhya - Tamil

She was introduced to the film industry through Balaji Sakthivel’s Kaadhal, opposite Bharath. She grabbed Film Fare Award and Tamilnadu State Award for the Best Actress Award for her debut movie. Her birth name is Revathy and she is born in the year 1988 in Kochi. Her father worked in a bank and her mother is a beautician. Sandhya has an elder brother named, Rahul. Sandhya got a wonderful chance to act in Kaadhal, as the offer was denied by Gopika, due to call sheet problems. Her second film was in Malayalam with Jayaram as her brother. The film is Alice in the Wonderland. She got a good name in that film too. She acted with Jiiva in Dishyum, which was also a hit movie with all hit songs. She performed as Simbu’s friend in Vallavan, in which Nayan Tara paired Simbu. She turned as a playback singer through the film Manjal Veyil. She has appeared in many reality shows in the TVs. Now she has committed in 5 Malayalam films and 2 Tamil films. Her latest movie was Thunai Mudhalvar, alongside K. Bhagyaraj and Jayaram.

Kunchacko Boban is a handsome young guy who got introduced as a hero in the Malayalam movie, Aniyatthipraavu, in the year 1997. His first movie was the most populous director Fazil, and the film is a super hit, with Shalini, alongside. Before his debut as a hero, he has acted in Dhanya, as a child artist. He is loved by all his female fans for his cute smile and tiny expressions that boost his beauty. This charming guy is the grandson of the popular film producer Kunchacko. His grandpa’s studio is the first studio in Kerala. Kunchacko Boban’s father is also a person who is related to the film industry through acting and production. Anu and Mini are his siblings. Kunchacko Boban is married to Priya Ann from the year 2005. After marriage, Kunchacko Boban had a break to cinemas and came back after three years. Kunchacko Boban had a cameo appearance in the movie of the big shots, Mamooty and Mohanlal in Harikrishnans. This film has a special feature, as it rejoined Mamooka and Lalettan after nine years. The film Law point gave him a good break and How Old Are You showed him as a selfish husband. Whatever roles are given to him, whether negative or positive, heroic or villainy, Kunchacko Boban did it well.Chirakodinja Kinavukal and Birds With Large Wings are his latest ventures.

5. Indrajith Sukumaran

Indrajith Sukumaran is a prominent film actor, who predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. He was born on February 20, 1980 in Trivandum, Kerala in India. Indrajith is the eldest son of the late Malayalam actor and producer, Sukumaran Nair and actress, Mallika Sukumaran. He got married to Poornima Mohan, an actress as well, on December 13, 2002 and they have two daughters namely Nakshatra and Praarthana. He is the brother of South Indian actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran.

He was debuted as a film actor in the 2002 Malayalam romantic drama film, Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan, helmed by Vinayan, which stars Jayasurya and Kavya Madhavan. Since then, he was starred in more than 50 films, and became notable for his role as a villain in the blockbuster hit film, Meesa Madhavan in 2002, helmed by Lal Jose. In year 2004, he acted alongside Dileep in the box-office action drama film, Runway. Indrajith played as a rich spoiled brat in Prithviraj-starrer Classmates in 2006, following with an appearance in Chotta Mumbai together with Mohanlal in the lead role. He acted again in Lal Jose’s directorial film, Arabikkatha in 2007; a film that depicts the story about Cuba Mukundan. In year 2008, he acted in the multi-starrer action thriller film, Twenty:20, together with the biggies of the Malayalam cinema such as Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dileep, Jayaram, Suresh Gopi and many more. He was starred in the Malayalam films, Nayakan and Karayilekku Oru Kadal Dooram in 2010. He is also notable for his role as an unemployed man, who is making toys out of the garbages he picked for a living in the black comedy film, Ee Adutha Kaalathu in 2012. Indrajith acted as a priest in the 2013 romantic musical satire film, Amen in 2013. Indrajith won the Best Supporting Actor award at the TTK Prestige-Vanitha Film Awards for his performance in this film. In the same year, he was starred in Arun Kumar Aravind’s Left Right Left. Indrajith also made an appearance in the drama thriller film, Ezhamathe Varavu and in the social thriller film, Angels.

Besides acting predominantly in the Malayalam films, Indrajith was also featured in the Indian-British period drama film, Before the Rains in 2007; in the Tamil romantic thriller film Sarvam and in Telugu film Kavya’s Diary in year 2009 and in the Hindi film The Waiting Room in 2010.

Since then, he performed in a variety of films that showcased his talent as an actor. As of the present, he is waiting for the release of his latest Malayalam comedy thriller film, Amar Akbar Anthony, from which he was starred alongside Jayasurya and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

He also sang for few Malayalam films including Mullavalliyum Thenmavum in 2003, Chekavar, Nayakan and Happy Husbands in 2010, Arikil Oraal in 2013 and Angels in 2014.

6. Vijayaraghavan

Vijayaraghavan is an Indian actor from Kerala, who mainly acted in Malayalam films. He is popular for his versatility playing different character and villain roles. He is the son of great Malayalam drama writer and director N. N. Pillai, who is known to many by his role Anjooran in the Malayalam movie Godfather.

Vijayaraghavan was born in Malasia in 1951 and brought up there until he was six months old. Being from a drama family Vijayaraghavan had the acting talent inherited from his father. Vijayaraghavan debut in Malayalam movies was in 1973 through Kaapaalika, a film based on N N Pillai’s famous drama with the same name. He did a small role in this movies. A decade later he did a throughout role in movie Surumayitta Kannukal (1983). The 1987 Mamooty-Joshi movie New Delhi was the real breakthrough for Vijayaraghavan. The film was remade in different languages like Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. It is still one among the top 20 blockbuster movies in Malayalam cinema industry.

He got the real break-through with his performance as Ramji Rao in the 1989 hit movie Ramji Rao Speaking, directed by Siddique-Lal. In the mid-1990s, Vijayaraghavan did the lead role in many low-budget offbeat Malayalam films. His best performance as an actor was seen in director Jayaraj’s movie Desadanam in 1997. He also played important action characters along with Suresh Gopi and Mamooty in movies like Commissioner, Ekalavyan, Mafia and The King. 

Since the start of this millennium, Vijayaragahavn became a busy actor doing character and villain roles in mainstream Superstar movies like Raavanaprabhu (2001), CID Moosa (2003), Bharathchandran I.P.S (2005), Lion (2006), Chotta Mumbai (2007), Mayavi (2007). He also played the lead role in popular Malayalam television serial entitled Kavyanjali telecasted on Surya TV in 2004. Vijayaraghavan is fond of character roles and thrilling police roles. In his own words Cheradi Zakaria, the role of a physically challenged man that he played in Ranji banker's film Sipayi Lahala, is his favourite character role. His favorite villain character is the police role in the film Stop Violence”. He won the best villain award from Mazhavil Manorama for the film Tensile Vyapari”. He could also play comedy roles at ease, and his comedy roles, like the one in Meleparambil a is still remembered. He has been the part of Malayalam film industry for the last 33 years, and he is known to many by the name “in in”. Apart from all these he is very interested in agriculture and owns an agriculture land in Tamil Nadu.

Vijayaraghavan’s wife is  Suma and they have two sons, Jinadevan and Devadevan. Jinadevan is  business man and is married to Rakhi. The couple has a son named Adrath. Devadevan follows his father and grandfather to be in  in film and drama industry as actor and director.

7. Rajesh Pillai

Rajesh Pillai is a Mollywood filmmaker who made his debut in the field of cinema in 2005. His first film was ‘Hridayathil Sookshikkan’ which had actors like Kunchacko Boban and Bhavana playing the main characters. The film was based on the American film ‘Meet the Parents’. After a gap of six years, he again made his second film ‘Traffic’ which was written by Bobby and Sanjay, who are screenwriters duo in Malayalam cinema. The film ‘Traffic’ is credited to have led to a new wave in Malayalam cinema.  The screenwriters’ duo worked for more than two years to complete the scripting of ‘Traffic’ (2011), which was inspired by true incidents. The film was very well received in Kerala and Rajesh Pillai’s efforts were acknowledged. This was also the last film of actor Jose Prakash. Due to Traffic’s success in Mollywood, the film was remade in Kannada and Tamil. But Malayalam version was said to be better than other remakes. In 2014, ‘Traffic’ was adapted into Hindi by Suresh Nair and music was composed by Mithoon. It has stars like Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Divya Dutta and Amol Parashar in the lead roles. The film was not a big success in Hindi.  In August 2012, he shelved his announced project titled ‘Motorcycle Diaries’ and went ahead with another movie titled ‘Mili.' ‘
