Plot

Pakshirajan, an old ornithologist commits suicide from a mobile tower. The reason for his suicide was initially unknown. Scientist Dr Vassegaran has a humanoid named Nila and he had been working on his next projects. All on a sudden, the mobile phones are pulled out of the shelves and from the users’ hands. On seeing the weird happening, which seems to be out of the sixth sense, Dr Vaseegaran was requested to find out how and why the mobile phones vanish. This is when Vaseegaran seeks Chitti’s help. Vaseegaran upgrades Chitti and make him involve in the search operation. It is then found out that Pakshirajan, who finds out that the mobile towers are the reason for the destruction of the bird race, who couldn’t bear it committed suicide and he returns as the fifth force to destroy. Did Chitti stop Pakshirajan? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Akshay Kumar has done a fantastic job as Pakshirajan, the angry villain. He had done a fantastic job. Superstar Rajini has done an excellent job as Vaseegaran and Chitti and satisfies his fans. Others had done their part well, as suggested by Shankar.

Analysis

2Point0, the dram film of Shankar released with huge expectations. Shankar’s screenplay is good. But, did it satisfy the Superstar fans? Let us see it now. The VFX effects, sound, the sets, cinematography and the editing are top notching. Shankar and Jeyamohan had penned the script perfectly. But, the flashback portions are not much emotional. Sudhanshu’s Pandey’s Dhirendra Bhora role is not developed well. The clash between the humongous bird and Chitti is the highlight of the film that impresses all the age groups. Mini surprise 3.0 attracts the audiences. However, the film doesn’t have much humor like Enthiran.

Rajini is the first big element in 2.0
Akshay Kumar impresses the audiences with his villainy looks and performance
AR Rahman’s BGM is stunning
VFX team should be appreciated for the hard work that had given a good result
Shankar’s screenplay and execution is highly laudable

What’s Not There?

Certain tiny flaws are there but they not be zoomed in for the excellence of the hard work by Shanakr and team

Verdict

In simple, 2.0 is a good movie that not only satisfies ardent Rajini fans, but the children too for its mega sized mobile bird and Kutti alias 3.0. This “Enthiran” sequel will definitely be a pioneer of new gen sci-fi thrillers. 2.0 – Watch Worthy for Rajini, Akshay, Shankar and the VFX team!
