1. Viji Chandrasekhar

You utter the name Viji Chandrasekar, people will ask “ is it the one who acted as Superstar Rajini’s sister in Thillu mullu ?, Is it the famous actress Saritha’s sister ?” Yes, Viji chandrasekar is known to all from the time the movie Thillu Mullu was released way back in 1981.

She acted in many films and acting till now, in small roles. Along the while she got married to Capt. Chandrasekhar and has two lovely daughters.

Like any other small time film actress, she entered small screen through Doordarshan in the year 1991 in a serial called Muppathu Kodi Mugangal and then on she has done more than 15 serials in Sun TV, Doordarshan, Raj, Vijay and Jaya TV. To name a few, Kudumbam Oru Kovil, Pushpanjali, Alaigal, Kolangal, Penn, Annamalai etc. She was just getting small roles in serials while she got the opportunity in the Serial Azhagi. In azhagi she has beautifully done the role of a mother, who is a multifaceted lady, managing many things at time. Simultaneously she got a role in a movie called aarohanam, where she has done the lead role as a vegetable vendor.

Acting runs in her blood which is known to Tamil people through her sister Saritha. Viji has won quite a few awards for the film Aarohanam – Tamil Nadu cinema kalai mandram - special jury award, Ajantha Fine Awards, Maha Fine Award etc.

3. Thalaivasal Vijay

Vijay ( Vijaykumar) got the title Thalaivasal as he acted in the movie called Thaliavasal. He is an Ace actor who has acted in more than 200 movies in various languages viz Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. Though he comes in small roles in most of the movies, he makes an impact in the hearts of the audience in whatever role he performs. He is such a good actor.

He was born on 4th August 1962 as first son in a humble middle class family. His father was a railway employee working in Bhilai. Vijay stayed with his grandmother in Chennai and did his schooling. His debut into film was through a serial called Neela Mala after it happened after a long struggle. During his younger days his dream was to become a doctor, which didn’t happen and he ended up doing a degree. Later he did his PG in catering and also in marketing which helped him in his career when he was working in a restaurant and then in a hospital as a marketing executive. He also was a gymnast, choreographer and a dancer for a short period. Then he joined film institute with the help of his friends as his family didn’t like him entering film institute. His family was worried as he was finding it difficult to settle down in one profession.

He was a gold medalist in the film institute when he got the chance to act in his first serial “Neela Mala” in Doordharshan and later he started acting in movies. Presently he is acting in a serial called Ganga Yamuna Saraaswathi. This story is all about a single lady and her three sons in a village who are against girl children. This serial also depicts a character which is against female infanticide.

Vijay is married and one of his children his daughter Jayaveena is a tamil nadu state level swimmer. She has won few medals too in state level competitions.

Though he was won many awards like Kerala state best actor award and many more, his aim is to get a National Award. Apart from acting, choreography and dancing he is also skilled in dubbing and he has acted in many advertisements too.

4. Ashwin Kakumanu

Ashwin Kakumannu is a Tamil film actor born on 5 July 1987 in Chennai. He started his career through the movie ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ in 2011. Ashwin is popular for his role in “Mankatha”, directed by Venkat Prabhu; the film is an action thriller. Initially, he worked on a print ad for Coke, but the ad didn’t come out. He also has worked on an Airtel ad with Swathi Reddy. Ashwin also has an impressive business card ‘Ashwin is who’ that features his pictures in different avatars. Bala Singh is an Indian Tamil actor. He is very famous for his roles as villain and character artist. He is also a theater artist. He made his debut with the 1995 movie Avatharam directed by Nassar.
