Maran (popularly known as Ghilli Maran) was a singer and actor of Indian origin. Manimaran, later shortened to Maran belonged to the district Chengalpet in Tamil Nadu. He was born on June 4, 1972. He worked primarily in the Tamil film industry. He was mostly seen in supporting roles and made his debut in the year 2002 with the movie Ezhumalai. His next movie was Ghilli (2004) which was a major hit and got him noticed. He was also a live performer and used to sing at various events and music shows. Suresh Urs is an Indian movie editor, who works mainly in the South Indian cinema. He has worked in over 700 movies and 40 documentaries and TV shows. Suresh is mostly known for his collaboration with directors like Mani Ratnam, Girish Ratnad, Shankar Nag, T. S. Nagabharana, P. Vasu, Bala, Girish Kasarvalli, Saran and Baraguru Ramachandrappa.
