Nowadays, acting and dancing go hand to hand. Both are performing art forms that reveal expressions and ideas. Priyadarshini is marvelous in both of the performing arts, dancing and acting. Since her childhood, she was multi-talented and has now worked in KavalKaidigal (1984), Naagam, Naga Devatha (Telugu), Kuttravaaligal, Madhya Kovil, Uyire Unakkaga, Idyathai Thirudathey.

Chinnaponnu was born in Suranam in Sivagangai District in Tamil Nadu, India. As a child of thirteen years old, she actively participated in several temple festivals and churches. After that, she started to sing in the troupe of Artist Kottaisamy as a professional singer. She used to say him as her mentor. Later she was noticed by Gunasekar, who is a member of the Communist party. As he searched for folk songs and folk artists, he helped her explore herself in several parts of the state. By 2004, she made her first entry into the Tamil cinemas as a playback singer for the movie Chandramuki song Valthuren Valthuren.

Vairamuthu is a very famous Tamil writer, poet, and lyricist. His full name is Vairamuthu Ramasamy. He was born on 13th July 1953. He was born in a middle-class family to Ramasamythevar and Angammal in Mettur. His family moved to Vadugapatti, Theni in Tamil Nadu when he was four years old. He is famous by the pen name Kaviyarasu or Kaviperarasu. He got married to Ponmani Vairamuthu and had two children, Madhan Karky Vairamuthu, and Kabilan Vairamuthu. He got inspiration from the Tamil and Rationalist movements in the 1960s that enthused him to pursue a career as a writer. He graduated from Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai. As a speaker and a poet, he was highly praised as the best in his college.

Haricharan Seshadri is an eminent Carnatic singer who gives his vocal in many Malayalam, Tamil, and other regional movies. He made his debut through the Tamil flick ‘Kadal’, in which he got the chance to sing two solo songs "Unakkena Iruppaen" and the title song "Kaadhal". In the same movie, he also had sung a duet song ‘Thottu Thottu’ with Harini Shankar. 
 

He is a Malayalam actor and producer, famous for his comedy and drama roles. He was initially a theater artist, writer, and started Kalidasa Visual Magic to produce plays. His first play was Chayanmukhi, directed by Prasanth Narayan, which say him essay Keechaka’s role. He completed his schooling from Infant Jesus School Kollam and BSc from Sree Narayana College, Kollam and also has an LLB degree from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. He married twice. His first wife was actor Saritha with whom he has two sons Shravan and Tejas, who are pursuing their academics from Dubai and New Zealand respectively. His second wife is Methil Devika, dancer, whom he married in 2013.

Senthil Dass is an Indian film industry playback singer who has predominantly worked in the Tamil film industry. He started recording his own songs in 2000 and published them on social media platforms and websites. The artist was acknowledged for his work and got the chance to work at different sound label companies. Senthil has done several live shows, events, music festivals and stage performances all over the country.

Unni Menon is a veteran playback singer who had enthralled the audiences with his melodious voice. He has sung in many Indian languages and he was one of the best classical singers who had a good combination with A R Rahman. He was born in Temple town of Guruvayoor in a middle class family. He had done schooling in Guruvayoor and went to Palakkad to continue his degree. Although this singer had shown a great enthusiasm in signing right from his childhood days, it was just a co-incidence that brought him to Indian film industry.

This god-gifted singer might not have hoped to become a singer at all although he used to sing right from he was young. As a commoner, he also did find a job in a vehicle factory in Chennai. Nothing was pre-planned. Neither, he had a formal training in singing nor any godfather, but his journey as a playback singer in Malayalam and Tamil movies were really path-breaking one. He had a journey of three decades in playback singing which even surprises him at times, but he considers it as total coincidence, as he grew up hearing songs of K.J. Yesudas and M. Jayachandran. He was never too ambitious to achieve a glory in playback singing. That makes him a total different from other singers of his era. He had done 26 songs for A R Rahman. His career too had benefitted from association with Rahman. Many of Rahman songs from films like ‘Roja’ still remain in minds of his audiences. Unni Menon has never been too ambitious but whatever he has achieved in his life makes him a very happy and satisfying person.

The only regret he has in the new generation music world that technology has taken over the music industry so much that quality level has gone down. This singer had always wanted to do quality work and he is indebted to all kinds of help he received from maestros of music world such as A R Rahaman or even Ilaiyaraaja. It was Kunjunni, a violinist in camp of music director Ilaiyaraaja who had introduced him to B. A. Chidambaranath, a music director, and Unni's musical career got launched in 1981–82.

If in Tamil movies he had a good combination with Rahaman, in Malayalam cinema, he had a good track with music director Shyam. Unni also turned music composer for the movie’ Sthithi’(2003), which still remains deep in the heart of music lovers even after a decade even. The good quality in his voice that it had deep melody and his pronunciation is always very much perfect. Whether it is for Ilaiyaraaja for 'Oru Kaidhiyin Dairy' or A R Rahaman for ‘Roja’, every song that he had got to sing, he had done full justice to it. He was born on December 2, 1955, and quite obviously this year (2015) turns out to be his 50th anniversary too. A remarkable feat indeed!

Velmurgan is a Play Back Singer in Tamil Film Industry. He was born on 5 March 1980 in Viruthachalam, Tamil Nadu. Velmurgan is a singer, actor, musician, and lyricist. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 2007. He had sung many folk songs, which include Madura in Subramaniapuram and the Otha Sollala in Aadukalam.

Suresh Urs is an Indian movie editor, who works mainly in the South Indian cinema. He has worked in over 700 movies and 40 documentaries and TV shows. Suresh is mostly known for his collaboration with directors like Mani Ratnam, Girish Ratnad, Shankar Nag, T. S. Nagabharana, P. Vasu, Bala, Girish Kasarvalli, Saran and Baraguru Ramachandrappa. Suresh got the National Film Award for Best Editing work in movie Bombay (1995).

Muthukaalai is a South Indian actor. He has done predominant work in the Tamil film industry. He is popularly known for the comedy roles he portrays in his films. HE was born on the 6th of February, 1965. Muthukaalai was born in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu. He always wanted to become a stunt choreographer. At the age of 18, he attained a black belt in karate. He made his debut on the big screen with the movie ‘Ponmanam.’ Ponmana is a 1998 Tamil drama film directed by S.P.Rajkumar.

Pandi, commonly known as 'Black Pandi,' is a comedy artist from Tamil Nadu. His original name is Lingeswaran. He is famous for his role in his debut television show 'Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’. He is in the field of cinema since the year 2000 and he has appeared in almost twenty-three movies. Some of the movies that he worked were Ghilli, Autograph, Angaadi Theru, Deiva Thirumagal, Velayutham, Saattai, Poojai, Jilla, etc. He belongs to a family of artists, where his ancestors were stage actors for many generations.
