B Vijay Kumar is an Indian director. He is a writer, director, lyricist, and producer. He made his debut as a director in the movie ‘Uriyadi,’ which was a political thriller set in the 1990s, which was released in 2016. This movie gained high acclaim by the audience and was even considered as one of the best political thrillers ever made in the Tamil cinema. He has changed the views in the field of direction by his creativity.

S. A. Rajkumar is an Indian music director. He belongs to Chennai in Tamil Nadu. He composes music for the South Indian film industry in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. He was born in 1964 to Selvarajan (father) and Kannammal (mother) in Chennai. His ancestors/ family descendants belong to Paettai, Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu. His father Selvarajan was a vocalist. He performed in many stage shows organized by famous music directors of the film industry like Deva, A. R. Rahman, Gangai Amaran, Chandra Bose, and Ilayaraja, among others. Rajkumar was an admirer of his father’s musical work and with the passage of time he developed an interest in the art. It was Kannammal, his mother who spotted the buried musical abilities of Rajkumar. She noticed that Rajkumar while sitting idle used to get engrossed in singing. She asked her husband to make Rajkumar join music classes for further refinement as he also has developed an interest in the field. Subsequently, Rajkumar learned Carnatic music (music system related to the southern part of the Indian subcontinent) for three years. He undertook classes of this classical music under the guidance of S V Subbaiah Bhagavathar. Rajkumar also has a younger brother named Arul.

Suresh Urs is an Indian movie editor, who works mainly in the South Indian cinema. He has worked in over 700 movies and 40 documentaries and TV shows. Suresh is mostly known for his collaboration with directors like Mani Ratnam, Girish Ratnad, Shankar Nag, T. S. Nagabharana, P. Vasu, Bala, Girish Kasarvalli, Saran and Baraguru Ramachandrappa. Suresh got the National Film Award for Best Editing work in movie Bombay (1995).

Kadhal Sukumar is an Indian film director and actor. He has mainly given his contribution and appeared in Tamil language cinemas. For a decade he used to work in movies as a comedian. He was best known for his performance in the movie Kaadhal in the year 2004 by Balaji Sakthivel. After working in the romantic film he decided to attempt a career as a movie director.

Comedy is the forte of Manobala (Manobala Mahadevan), who is also a director. He was born on 4th June 1953 and acts in supporting roles too. His primary region of interest is Tamil. He has over 40 movies and 16 television serials to his credit. Having worked in 3 telefilms too, he has over 200 movies to his credit. He has worked under director Bharathiraja. 

Hailing from Sulur, Manobala forayed into the Tamil industry with the 1994 flick Thaaimaaman. Doing trivial roles initially, he switched to comedy later. He was appreciated for his comedy, and his skinny appearance added to the laughter of the audience. His rapport with Kamal Haasan, though commendable in the initial stages, was not good after some problems with the Directors Union. But later Manobala confessed that, he doesn’t hold any grudges with Kamal Haasan. The Sun TV program Asathapovathu Yaaru has Manobala’s presence frequently. He had a brief stint with production through the film Sathuranga Vettai. 

Oor Kavalan, Aagaya Gangai, Sirai Paravai, Moodu Manthiram, Pillai Nila, Moondrezhuthil En Moochirukkum, Karuppu Vellai and Nandini are a few flicks of his direction. As an actor his works are Natpukkaga, Taj Mahal, Annai, Minsara Kanna, Perazhagan, Priyasakhi, Samudhiram, Ghajini, Varalaaru, Thambi, Azhagiya Thamizh Magan, Santhosh Subramaniam, Polladhavan, Dindigul Sarathy, Abhiyum Naanum etc. Manobala is active in the industry from 1982 to till date. Manobala is credited to have done projects with three generations. He is a simple person and doesn’t like publicity. 

On his personal front Manobala is wedded to Usha. 

Manobala stated that people asked him to direct films like Pillai Nila. KS Ravikumar tapped his comical streak and his life changed a lot due to him. Manobala is grateful to K S Ravikumar for that. He feels that directing 40 films is indeed a commendable one.  

On 3rd May 2023, Manobala died in Chennai. He was suffering from illness related to pancreas. His sudden death saddened the film industry and fans.

Srinivasan was born in 1962 in Simmakal, Madurai. He completed his degree at Madurai Kamraj University. He first worked as a medical practitioner, then moved on to business by setting a finance firm Baba Trading Company. Having seen failure in both of his occupation, he then landed in Cinema Industry. Due to his interest towards films, he moved from Madurai to Chennai. He directed and acted in a film Lathika that was running for 220 days.
