Agnyaathavaasi” is scripted and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film has Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Keerthy Suresh pairs him for the first time. Anu Emmanuel plays a vital role. Anirudh Ravichander, the popular Tamil musician, makes his debut in Telugu film industry with this film. Haarika And Haasine Creations produced the film on a large scale. “ V Manikandan” cranked the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao edited the movie. The film also has “ Aadhi,” Boman Irani, Tanikella Bharani, “ Khushboo,” Parag Tyagi, Rao Ramesh, Sampath Raj, Murli Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Actor Ajay, Sameer Hasan, Aadukalam Naren, “ V Jayaprakash” and Srinivasa Reddy.

Plot

Vinda is the founder of AB Group of Companies. From his first marriage, he has a son named Abhishikth Bhargav. Vinda marries Indrani and the stepmother treats Abhi as her son. Vinda raises Abhishikth in Assam and none in the AB Group knows about Abhi. In a particular situation, Vinda and his younger son are murdered. Indrani calls her stepson to find out the murderers of her husband and younger son. Abhi returns and joins his own company as an employee. He suspects Sharma and Varma. While on his mission in detecting the murderers, two girls fall for him; one is his colleague Suryakantham and the other is the daughter of Varma, Sukumari. Did Abhi finds out the culprits and gets back his business? Whom will he marry, Surya or Suku? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Pawan… Pawan and Pawan… the Powerstar fills each and every frame with his majestic appearance. The heroines Keerthy and Anu didn’t have much to do. Khushboo, Boman, Rao Ramesh and Murli suit their characters well.

Analysis

Almost all the films by Trivikram have catchy dialogues and the comedy sequences that gel with the story. But, this time, we couldn’t find it together. Comedy scenes seem to be inserted forcefully, which looks odd. The film has a resemblance to Largo Winch. However, the film had a better story than Agnyaathavaasi. Trivikram’s originality is missing in this film and the movie seems to have completed in a hurry burry. However, with the biggest Pawan Kalyan element, people might forget all the minuses.

What’s There?

  • Pawan’s full-screen presence
  • Impressive second half
  • Cinematography and the music are the biggest pluses

What’s Not There?

  • Is this Trivikram movie? No Trivikram elements; especially screenplay lacks quality
  • Template heroines; unnecessary romance tracks
  • Sub-plots irritates

Verdict

Although the film has many drawbacks, with the big element Pawan Kalyan, the filmmakers could make some money. If you are a Pawan or Trivikram fan, you might miss your favorite sequences. However, Agnyaathavaasi is a one time watch!
