Plot

The film revolves around Divya (Pranitha Reddy). Divya was abandoned by her parents the day she was born. She is rescued by Deva (Rajveer), who nurtured and raised her. She has two best friends in her school, namely Lily (Neha Kamadari) and Vedanth (P Vedanth Verma). One day, Divya gradually loses consciousness. When she is taken to the hospital, it is found that Divya has Leukemia (blood cancer). According to doctors, the cost of her treatment is enormous.

Lily and Vedanth are at an age where they do not understand anything. In order to save Divya, they decide to go to an old age man who claims to have contact with God. Will Lily be able to save her best friend? What will Deva do, and how will he arrange the money for Divya’s treatment? What is the story behind the old age man, and how will he help Lily to save her friend Divya?

Star Performance

Lily is the debut film for Neha Kamadari and Pranitha Reddy, but they gave terrific performances. Their innocence and decency make the film beautiful. Rajveer and P. Vedanth Verma executed their role perfectly. They have done a commendable job with all the required emotions. The rest of the cast gave okayish performances.

Analysis

The film is about the bonding between friends. It has several emotional scenes between Neha Kamadari and Pranitha Reddy, which add strength to the film. The scene where Rajveer, who played the role of Deva, is trying his best to arrange money for Divya’s treatment looks very natural and practical. The entry of the dinosaur makes the film interesting. The VFX here is stunning.

However, the film has a weak narration and takes a long time to reveal the suspense. P. Vedanth’s character could be more perfect. Both the first and the second half run slowly.

What’s There?

• Excellent Visual Effects during the dinosaur entry.

• The cinematography is neat, and the music is good.

• The innocence of the kids makes the film realistic.

What’s Not There?

• Weak Narration.

• Weak Editing.

• The film runs slowly.

• The problem of Lip-Sync.

Verdict

Lily will be boring for some viewers due to its slow screenplay. If the story had been written more perfectly, the film could become a blockbuster. Kids will definitely enjoy this movie.
