Aladin Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs
Aladin is a Bollywood fantasy film. It has an experienced cast of Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is a screen adaptation of the age-old fantasy story of Aladin, with a few modern twists. The trailer tells us of a boy named Aladin (Riteish), who is repeatedly harassed by Kasim and his gang. Aladin inherited a magical lamp from his parents, which released a genie when he rubbed it. The Genie (Amitabh Bachchan) helped in allaying most of his problems, including assisting him in wooing Jasmine (Jacqueline).
His happy little world is dealt a huge blow when the effervescent Ringmaster (Sanjay Dutt) walks into his life, looking for the magical lamp. The film received mediocre reviews from the critics. While some of the critics appreciated that the film somewhat brought the ‘fabled story to life’ others criticized its rushed screenplay. The film, however, received praise from some of the critics for its special effects. The film failed to create any magic at the box office as it did not manage to recuperate its budget.
