Kallachirippu is a Tamil web series that streamed on the online platform i.e., Zee5, on 23rd July; 2018. It came in eight episodes. The series was based on thrillers and adventure. It was the first series-produced under Stone Beach Productions. This web series is critically praised for portraying women in more prominent and robust roles than males. This series is touching on topics like pornography, LGBTQ, abortion, lust, sexuality, and extramarital affairs apart from love and arranged marriage.
The plot of the story starts from the marriage of Mahati and Ram. Mahati is a twenty-four years girl who was forced into an arranged marriage with Ram. On the night of their wedding, there is a heated argument between Ram and Mahati. There is a power cut in the house. Due to the series of altercations, Mahati accidentally kills her husband, Ram. She calls her boyfriend, Indrajit, to clean up the mess. But the problem starts when Mahati’s parents visit her house. She had to hide both the body and her boyfriend. She desperately wants that her parents should leave the house as soon as possible so that body can be disposed of. But a new problem is looming over her. Will she get into deeper trouble? How will she come out of it? This whole situation forms the storyline.
