Rudhram is a Tamil television thriller serial that airs on Jaya TV. This series took place in the mountain area around Tamil Nadu. It stars the legendary dramatist, actor, singer, playwright, and comedian Y. G. Mahendran in the first episode. The story of the series depicts a thrilling story about a hidden mystery. The title song of the series itself threatens the audience. The series starts with Y.G as the archeologist. He reaches Mahendragiri Malai, which is 45 Km far from Tirunelveli. The priest of the temple explains the truth to everybody, stating that on the next day of the worship, they can see a snake shirt in the idol of the lingam. A cameraman, along with his friend, tries to investigate the truth behind it. But the snake kills them. Megahana, the writer in the press, knows the news through the newspaper and thinks to write the occult story as a series in the paper. She enquires about the cameraman through police and peoples. She finally reaches the temple and plans for the research. What happened to her? Will the Snake identify her? Will, she can explore the truth behind the mystery? What is the relation between this twelve-year lap and the present? Will Viswanathan achieve his goal is the rest of the story.
