Na Pellam Rajnikanth is an ultimate comedy-drama which deal with a robot Rajni. This humanoid robot was created by a scientist Shantanu Kant with the help of his friend Devendra Bangdu. The purpose of creating this robot is to save a human's life. Rajni looks smart and pretty, but it is powerful, and its memory works faster than 100 computers.

Shaan wants to achieve many great things in his career, so he does not want to marry, as he thought it would be a burden. So, he marries Rajni. But women in Kant's family don't like her because of her weird behaviour and Shaan's mom Surili don't like her because she wanted a traditional Bengali girl as her daughter in law. But the men in their family like Rajni for her innocence.

Rajni solves many problems in Shaan's family, which are created by her or by others. Meanwhile, Rajni's behaviour creates problems for Shaan's family because she isn't capable of understanding the human behaviour. After some days, Shaan got irritated by Rajni's attitude, and he dismantles her. Later he went to the USA, and gets engaged to Ria. 

But the twist was Rajni save herself from the factory five years ago, and she adopts an infant, who found on the streets. She named him as RAM. After knowing about Rajni, Ria breaks up with Shaan, and then Shaan decides to divorce Rajini. But Surili found that Rajni is a human, later the suspense is revealed that she is the duplicate of Rajni, and her name is Rajjo.

Shaan and Rajjo fall in love, and then Shaan's family accepts Rajjo as their daughter in law. In this way, the story ended happily.
