Saregamapa Nuvva Nena is a Telugu reality television series. The format of the show is based on the hit musical reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa that is telecasted in the national channel of Zee TV. This show is telecasted in Zee Telugu, since 27 October 2010. It is a talent hunt show for singers, which is quite popular in the state of Andhra Pradesh. People from all across the state comes to participate in the show in order to full fill their life-long dream to enter into the music industry and become an acclaimed artist someday. The response of the show has been incredible.
Not only did the show entail a huge amount of sheer musical talent but also elements of the Telugu film Industry as well. Several artists from the Industry made guest appearances on the show. Not only did the music personalities came onto the show but the star of the industry as well. After the scintillating response to past seasons, this year the show reflects the format of a battle. This year, the show didn’t go around taking new sets of faces and voices, rather went on to showcase the winners of all the past seasons battling the runner ups of the past seasons.
A lot of familiar and already favourite faces and voices appeared on the show to contest against each other. With the introduction of this concept, the show took its talent hunt into a whole new level. Previously it showcased only the best voices hunted that year, but now it showcased the best of all the best voices screened up till now. As this format was going on to become a bit familiar with the taste of Indian audience, the show conducted an audition for 3000 new contestants. And the selected few were paired with the already participants of the show, and then the competition took place.
The judge of the show was K. M. Radha Krishnan, who is quite famous in the music industry and a performed classical singer as well. Usha took the second seat in being the judge. Her vigour and dynamic elements of music added a spark to the show. Another feature that got introduced this year was that a new theme was decided for every episode. As a new theme was decided on every episode, so apart from the two permanent judges, one judge used to be called for each episode who mastered in the theme of that episode.
