Srimathi Sri Subramanyam is a Telugu Television show that airs on ETV. It is in the Telugu language and caters to the natives of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Each episode in the television show is around 20-25 minutes in length. The story mainly revolves around a man who is in his mid-thirties, 33 to be precise and is still not married. Srimathi Sri Subramanyam starts off with a television show within a TV show. In this, a lady anchor is introducing bachelors who can be possible prospects for grooms. She describes them and their educational qualifications, their family background, and gives their contact details.

The television show has managed 999 successful marriages, but their 1000 one failed because of the protagonist of Srimathi Sri Subramanyam. He again enters this wedding portal looking for a possible match, but his age is his disadvantage. Then he gets a partner set up for him. When he and his parents wait to meet the girl for this possible arranged marriage, the girl’s parents enter. The girl’s mother realises that he is the same guy who rejected her neighbour's daughter many years ago and realised her daughter is not fit to get married to him because of his old age.

Subramanyam does anything he can to try and get married. He goes to temples and offers various prayers to gods, and what not, but anyone who knows him knows his failure with marriage and do not allow him to keep any hopes. The family then convinces the same girl’s family to get their daughter married to his son. The story then revolves around various members of the girl’s family. It includes father, who does not spend money at all. It involves the mother who cares deeply about the girl, the sister who studies in a city called Vizag and is an obvious flirt and of course the girl who is spoilt and waiting for her husband to take over all the roles in the family.

The story mainly revolves around Subramanyam, who once single, is now ready to get married. The story then shifts focus to his marriage and introduces characters from the other family. Eventually, the story continues to his life post marriage. Srimathi Sri Subramanyam has many famous actors from the Telugu film industry and is a funny and light-hearted comedy series. It has been running successfully and has many episodes under its belt.
