As the story continues, Radha and Tripti are sent to jail by Modi for stealing Meera. The Modi reunite again and start living happily. But, soon, a new character enters their lives as a colleague of Gopi comes to Modi Bhavan to teach Meera for her upcoming exam. It turns out that the master likes Gopi and wants to marry her. He plots a devious plan and kidnaps Gopi. He takes her to get married, and the Modi family sets on a mission to save Gopi. While executing their plan, a miserable incident takes place. Rashi dies while saving Gopi. After Rashi’s death, Jigar becomes heartbroken and depressed. Later Paridhi marries Jigar.

During all this, Radha gets out of jail and re-enters the Modi family. She tries to set up Jigar in her trap and accuses him of getting her pregnant. After giving birth, she tries to threaten the family by threatening the baby. After all this, Gopi stabs her to death. Gopi goes to jail for killing Radha. Ahem has separated from the Modi family and lives in Mumbai. He lives with a woman named Mansi. Soon, Gopi gets released from jail and comes home. Kokila, Jigar, and Gopi go to Mumbai to reunite Ahem with his family.

Vidya’s marriage gets fixed with Shravan. He was the grandson of Kokila’s friend Gaura. It turns out Gaura wants to take revenge on Kokila. Gaura provoked Meera and got her married to Dharam. Now Meera and Vidya get into a relationship with Mother-daughter-in-law. Gradually, things settle in Meera and Vidya’s life. Later, Vidya gives birth to a daughter. Their story takes an unexpected when Ahem dies. Gopi gets heartbroken, and the family takes her to a therapist to get Gopi treated. The family decided to remarry Gopi with her therapist, but it turned out the therapist is the brother of Mansi and is marrying Gopi to take revenge. After learning about his plan, Kokila brings Jaggi, a look-alike of Ahem, to stop the wedding. Later, it turns out that Jaggi is Parag’s illegitimate son. The serial takes many twists and turns.

Later, Gopi gets to know about her long-lost son, who got swapped with another baby after his birth. Gopi reunites with her family. Soon, they get to know that Ahem is alive, and Gopi gets Ahem back. The serial ended on 23 July 2017. It has 2181 episodes in total.
The show was first telecasted on 3rd May, 2010 and still continues to run successfully. The dubbed Tamil version is being telecasted on Star Vijay, malayalam version on Asianet and a Telugu version on Maa TV. There is also an Urdu version of the series being aired in Pakistan. The show is telecasted from Monday-Friday at 7pm.
