Avalukendru Oru Manam was a romantic Tamil television serial aired in Zee Tamil. "A mind of her own" is the meaning of Avalukendru Oru Manam. The show premiered in 2008 and concluded in 2009. There were 132 episodes in total. The story revolved around a love triangle. It had a good blend of high society values mixed with liberal values of the 1960s. They perfectly showed the behavior and way of life of those with sizeable wealth and social standing. This series ran at 6 p.m. every weekday from Monday through Friday. Duniya Kya Jane, a Hindi adaptation of the Tamil series, was released concurrently.
