and Anand. Devraj and Nagappan are the two important people in a village. They both are rivals and hold the power over half of the village each. The village’s fishermen are divided into two groups, each following one of the village heads. Devraj is a silent killer who speaks less and does all his biddings by killing people. Nagappan is someone who is angered easily and yells at people for every minor issue, but he takes care of his people without harming anyone.
A police inspector is appointed to clear the air between the two parties but he finds it difficult to even get them both in the same room. Devraj has a son and Nagappan has two daughters. Their children cross paths frequently but keep the peace between each other. When Devraj decides to make peace with Nagappan, Devraj’s right-hand person, Rana plots to kill Nagappan. One night he lies next to Nagappan’s jeep and pretends to be hurt. Despite their animosity, Nagappan helps Rana to the jeep to take him to the hospital. He then stabs Nagappan. The prospect of peace was no longer there between the two heads of the village.
