It's organic for humans to form connections with those who share similar personalities with us, thus leading to friendships. "Saheliyaan" narrates the tale of three college-going girls, each hailing from distinct social classes but united by a commonality—their aspirations. Despite their diverse family backgrounds, these young women don't follow the rational life philosophy; instead, they pursue their dreams and fantasies. They shared anticipation for a fairy-tale romance and marriage to a prince. However, it proves to be an impractical approach to life, ultimately resulting to the disappointment of unfulfilled dreams. The moral is "There is no harm in dreaming, but everything that shines is not Gold."
