Suman Mukhopadhyay

Suman Mukhopadhyay is a famous theater director and a well-known director of Indian Bengali films. Suman Mukhopadhyay was born on 20 November, 1966, in Howrah, West Bengal. His father, Arun Mukhopadhyay, is an actor who received the National Film Award for Best Actor for his film, Parashuramer Kuthar. Suman Mukhopadhyay is a Bengali theater veteran who was a member of the theater group called Chetna. Raha Lear, Sunyo Sudhu Sunyo Noy, Bisarjan, Teesta Paarer Brittanto, and Samay Asamayer are known to be his famous plays. 

Suman Mukhopadhyay started his directorial journey with a film called Herbert in 2005, with Subhasish Mukhopadhyay as the actor. This film won the national award for the best Bengali film.
