Tarun Majumdar

The name Yatrik is a stage name for a trio of directors: Tarun Majumdar, Sachin Mukherji, and Dilip Mukherji. The trio did amazing quality films together until they started doing separate works until 1963. He then went on to make some of the most evergreen hits for the Indian film industry. In the 1990s, Majumdar retired from the film industry. And for a decade, he laid back and took rest after his long years of service. He made a comeback in the year 2004 with the film “Alo”, which was again a literary adaptation that had been appreciated by the audience as well as the critics.
