He is the author of the Porridge series, having many books under its names like Porridge the Tartan Cat and the Pet Show Show-Off. In an interview, he has said that he loves creating series because it has a different level of freedom, and he can revisit the characters he has already created. He says that it’s a lot of work creating content for television and children as they appear visually demanding. He doesn’t like static plots, and action has to be the key element. Instead of contemplating the action, he makes the plot extremely mobile so that the readers are hooked.
