.Sri T. K. Sribhashyam, the third offspring of Sri Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and Namagiriammal, comes from a family deeply rooted in yoga and philosophy. His mother is the sibling of Sri BKS Iyengar, and both his parents possess extensive knowledge of yoga. Sribhashyam's father is a renowned instructor in the field of yoga. He belongs to the Viidvaita lineage of Vedanta and can trace his ancestry back to Sri Nâtha Muni. Under the direction of his father, he underwent Vedic initiation and undertook a thorough study of yoga. Sribhashyam is a philosophy master's degree holder who has spoken on the Yoga Sutras and philosophy in India. He moved to France in 1970 and started giving seminars worldwide while teaching yoga and Indian philosophy. He established the ancient yoga, Indian philosophy, and Ayurveda school Yogakshemam in Switzerland. Later, Yogakshemam founded a branch in France and was recognized by both the European Union of Yoga and the Inter-Federation of Hatha Yoga.

The documentary "Breath of the Gods - A Journey to the Origins of Modern Yoga" involved considerable questioning of Sribhashyam. In his teachings, he placed significant importance on acquiring a deep understanding of Indian philosophy, the functioning of the body, and the workings of the mind. His lessons encompassed not only philosophy but also practices such as yoga postures (asanas), hand gestures (mudras), controlled breathing (pranayama), and techniques for enhancing focus. Sribhashyam's teachings pleased diverse religious beliefs while adapting traditional wisdom to suit modern lifestyles.

Additionally, he emphasized the therapeutic advantages of yoga and its applications in both preventive and healing contexts. Sribhashyam's departure in November 2017 left a lasting impact on the realms of yoga and Indian philosophy. His literary works in French, including "Emergence du yoga," "La voie de la liberation, Moka Mrga," and "La psychologie indienne, Manovijnana," played a pivotal role in facilitating the comprehension and dissemination of yoga and Indian philosophical concepts.
