He is an exceptionally talented Canadian actor and director, widely augustest for portraying the Cigarette Smoking Man in The X-Files. This famous personality was born on 13 January 1938 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to a lawyer father and psychologist mother. Apart from his core thing, i.e., appearing in TV programs and movies, he is the owner of the acting school, the William Davis Centre for Actors Study. In 1955, he was accepted at the University of Toronto to study philosophy. After some time, of course, he was the first to become Assistant Artistic Director and thenceforth Artistic Director of the National Theatre School of Canada in Montréal, Quebec. Finally, in 1989 William opened his Acting School. His achievements are endless and commendable as his hard work eventually paid off. He is a spokesperson for the Canadian Cancer Society and a phenomenal national champion water-skier in his division.

On top of that, he has even hosted a CBC presentation of Steven Spielberg's Taken (2002). He gives seminars on skepticism and climate change as an infatuated advocate for action in response to climate change. In 2011, he espoused Emmanuelle Herpin and had two daughters, Melinda and Rebecca, from the previous marriage and two grandchildren. Bill is such a down-to-earth person and an eager beaver; he is not just focusing on his career but has efficiently differentiated his personal life from his professional. He now divides his time between North America and France after marrying Emmanuelle Herpin, who resides and works there.
