Colin Hanks is American actor who is known for his work in the movie Orange County. His full name is Colin Lewis Dillingham. Colin was born on 24th November 1977 in Sacramento, California. He is also known for his performance in the 2010 American Fox Television series named The Good Guys. His father, Tom Hanks is an American actor, and his mother, Samantha Lewis Tom’s first wife, was a producer and an actress. His mother died of cancer on March 12, 2002. Hanks completed his high school education at Sacramento Country Day School and then he attended Chapman University. He later got transferred to Loyola Marymount University. He dropped out of the University without getting a degree. Hanks first appeared on the TV screen in the year 1996. He played the role of Male Page in TV series That Thing You Do.

In 1999, he was offered to work in the science fiction series named Roswell where he played the role of Alex Whitman for the first two seasons. He received a lot of recognition and was appraised for his work in the series. During that the time, he also appeared in some other television shows like Whatever it Takes, Get Over It and many more.
