Rob LaBelle is an American actor who has worked in several Hollywood movies and TV shows. Besides being an actor Rob has also directed and produced several movies. He is born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Rob started his career as an actor in 1988 and is active in the film industry. In the year 1988, he was in the cast of the short film Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story. He appeared as a dad in the film and has also given voice for the character Mr. A&M. It was a short-drama film written by Cynthia Schneider and directed by Todd Haynes. Merrill Gruver, Michael Edwards, Melissa Brown were in the main cast.
It is a biography of the famous carpenter Karen. The story revolves around his battle with anorexia nervosa in the 70s. The movie has got an IMDb rating of 7.8/10. In 2009 he produced the series Mental. He was the executive producer of the series. In 2013 he was the producer of the mini-series The Dark Corner. In the same year, he also co-produced Motive, which is a crime-mystery created by Daniel Cerone. In the year 2000, he directed two episodes of the series First Wave. Rob has been credited in almost 100 movies. Lost in Space was his recent project in the year 2019. It is an adventure-drama series created by Irwin Allen, Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless.
