On his very first audition, he was selected for the role in the daytime series One life to live. Later, he appeared in many shows like Law and Order, Whoopi, Late Show with David Letterman, etc.
On October 5, 2013, Sears married Milissa Sokora, an actress. Teddy Sears learned the magical spell of success from his family. His great grandfather was a pistol shooter and won the 1912 Olympics. Also, his aunt won a bronze medal in the 100-yard butterfly in the 1956 Olympics.
