Celia De Burgh is a Veteran Australian actress, model, Theatre artist who was born in 1958. She trained as an actress in London, England. After completing her studies, she joined the Melbourne Theatre and after becoming a successful actress and worked in a dozen films, and TV series, she never declined the offers of theatre plays. Theatre was her priority. She acted in the hundred-plus stage plays instead of films and TV series. Celia played the character of Sara Hamilton in the popular TV series Prisoner: Cell Block H; she is known as atheatre artist and took retirement from acting in 1999 to focus on her modeling and theatre career.

The actress debuted with the Australian movie The Getting Of Wisdom in 1977. The movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Henry Richardson. It stars Barry Humphries, John Waters, Kerry Armstrong, Sigrid Thornton, Noni Hazlehurst, Maggie Kirkpatrick.

The movie was directed by Bruce Beresford and produced by Phillip Adams. The movie was set in the 80s at Presbyterian Ladies College. In 1999, she last seen as a supporting role in the TV series Halifax F P, an Australian crime series created by Roger Simpson, which completed six seasons from 1994 to 2002.
