Evangeline Lilly is from Canada. She is an actress as well as an author. She is currently with Norman Kali and has two children. She was first a model, and, later on, she entered the acting field. She first did few commercials and then played roles in “Smallville” and “Kingdom Hospital” where she had a silent role that is she didn’t have dialogue delivery. She then auditioned for one of ABC’s award-winning top shows LOST and got selected for ‘Kate Austen’s’ role. She took training in archery and swordplay for that particular role. She was a fan of the ‘The Lord of the Rings’, she claimed. She played the role of ‘Hope Van Dyne’ in the movie Ant-man, which was released in 2015. She released her first book in July 2013 which was named “The Squickerwonkers”. She said that she got the idea for the book when she was young. She said that she would unveil new characters in the next coming books. Apart from the above-mentioned movies she was also a part of the following movies: Freddy vs Jasonin which she played the role of a school student, The LizzieMcguire movie in which she played the role of a police officer, Stealing Sinatra in which she played the told of a model, White Chicksin which she played the role of a party guest, The long Weekend in which she played the character of Simone.The Hurt Locker in which she played Connie James.

She was nominated for Gotham Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards for best Ensemble cast and won the Awards. She even MTV movie Awards for “Award for Best fight”. Apart from these, she got nominated for “Kids choice Awards”,” Saturn Awards”, “Denver Films Critic Society”, “Alliance of Women Film Journalists”. She is going to play a role in the sequel of “The Ant-man”- “The Ant-man and the Wasp”.
