Dave Benson Phillips was born on February 3, 1965, who is one of the most popular children’s presenters on television in the UK. He is best known for Playhouse Disney and The Fun Song Factory. Benson Phillips has also presented the popular CBBC game show Get Your Own Back. His famous works include The National Union of Space people (2016), Sooty (2011), and The Dark Channel. 

He started his career as an entertainer by giving performances at children’s parties. He made his debut on television when he was working as a Children’s uncle at Haven Holidays, where he was spotted by a talent scout, and he was given a chance by BBC to appear in Playdays, which ran for nine years.

In 1991 Benson Phillips was given his show, Get Your Own Back, which was shown on the BBC between 1991 and 2003. This show also got nominated for a BAFTA in 1999. It was a game show consisting of one kid contestant and one adult contestant who, according to the kid, has done something for which the kid wanted to take revenge. 

Throughout his career, Dave has continued to perform in front of a live audience. He was also seen working as a professional wrestler recently. He also appeared as a panelist on the show Big Brother’s Bit on the side. Dave also co-hosted the show Let’s Rock the Moor! Along with Pat Sharp. All around his busy schedule, whatever the circumstances, Dave has always found time for challenged youngsters amongst whom his Makaton sign language video is popular. Phillips also operates a production company named Chester Benson Productions.
