Matthew Hayden

Matthew Hayden was officially named as Matthew Lawrence Hayden, who was born on 29th October 1971 in Kingaroy, Queensland, Australia with the zodiac sign as Scorpio. He is a former cricketer and a cricket commentator. Hayden was a very aggressive left-handed batsman. He was one of the opening batsmen from his team.

Hayden was nicknamed as Haydos and unit. He is very handsome with a height of six feet and an inch. Hayden made a partnership, with his co-batsman Justin Langer, which was famous world-wide. He made a record of debuting two hundred one innings in India which is still the 2nd highest. Hayden is also a right-arm fast-medium bowler and right-arm leg break leg spinner.

When he started his career, he used to play for Sheffield Shield cricket in Queensland. In total, he played 101 matches and scored 8831 runs, with an average striking rate of 54.85%. Hayden became the captain of his team Northamphire in the session 1999-2000, with a record of 3461 runs in an average striking rate of 55.82%. He also played in the English championship in 1997 against Hampshire.

In the inaugural event of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a contract has been signed by Haydon, with an amount of $375,000 got from the Chennai Super Kings on April 2008. Hayden then took all the limelight under him. Then in 2009, Haydon won the Orange Cap and was declared to be the highest scorer of the season with 572 runs. In the session 2011–12, for being the part of the Brisbane Heat, which was held in Australia's Big Bash League, he resigned from the boards of cricket from Queensland and Australian cricket.

All in total, Hayden played One hundred three test matches, where Hayden had scored eight thousand six hundred twenty-five runs with an average striking rate of 50.73%. Hayden had played one sixty-one tournaments in One Day Internationals (odis) in which he scored six thousand one hundred thirty-three runs, with an average rate of 43.80%.

Then Haydon entered into the First-class cricket, where Hayden played two hundred ninety-five matches and scores twenty-four thousand six hundred three runs in total, with a rate of 52.57%. Lastly he ended with playing three hundred eight lists A Matches and scored twelve thousand fifty-one runs with a strike rate of 44.63%. Matthew Haydon got married to Kellie Hayden. The couple was blessed with a daughter Grace and two sons Joshua Hayden and Thomas Hayden.
