Iesh Thapar

Iesh is a writer and director with experience in video games, TV, and movies. His short films have been screened at well-known international film festivals, including Palm Springs, Aspen Shortfest, and The BFI London Film Festival, to name a few. Film London, The BFI Network, ESPN, The Tribeca Film Institute, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, The Sundance Institute, Film Independent have all previously supported Iesh's work. Iesh is a BAFTA LA Scholar/Newcomer, a John Brabourne Awardee, and the 2017 Ezra Litwak Award winner for excellence in screenwriting. He was designated one of the 25 UK "Lodestars" rising stars of cinema.

Iesh has worked as a voice director and writer for some of the industry's most well-known and prestigious AAA video games, in addition to his work in film and television. The Division 2, Hitman 2, and Watch Dogs Legion are recent releases for companies like Ubisoft, Massive Entertainment, and IO Interactive. At Columbia University's School of the Arts in New York City Iesh, graduated MFA Film program, and is working with Gaumont US to develop his first film, Alien Kulture, as well as a miniseries called The Marble Orchard, and a TV series based on the bestselling book "We That Are Young." Iesh was chosen as a participant in the Film Independent Screenwriting Lab and the Fast Track finance market, and he was chosen as a director for the BFI NETWORK x BAFTA CREW professional development program. Iesh is a Columbia University MFA Film program graduate. Alien Kulture is his current project.
