Azim is the nephew of Producer, Director Yakub Hassan Rizvi, and Sibti Hassan Rizvi. Azim Rizvi’s debut movie Qasam Se Qasam Se was directed by Ashfaq Makrani. It was produced by Nazim Rizvi. Azim plays the lead role, Rohan, a college student.

He tries to beat all odds to win his lady love (Faith Mehra) back in his life. The film was a romance, having all the masala of a typical Bollywood flick but still failed to impress the audience and the critics alike. The Marathi movie Laden Aale Re Aale was a comedy. Azim dons the role of a village drunkard in the movie. The story revolves around the five thousand crore rupees prize money for telling the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden, who happens to hide in the same village where the hero (Azim Rizvi) resides. The film got a mixed response.
