Rishika Baruah is an upcoming cinematographer, known for Panisokori (in the Swirls) (2021), 1800 Life (2022), Naoka (2021), Aru Kunu Nari Gandhari Nohoba (2018), and Rendezvous: Unfolding an Unforeseen (2018).She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and subsequently earned a master’s degree in Cinematography from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. Â
She interned at various media production houses like Assam Tribune Private Limited and 92.7 Big FM. She has been working as a cinematographer in various short films which have received critical acclaim. She participated in the 2022 Busan International Film Festival and represented India at a global level while learning new cinematography techniques. Â
