Rajat K Tangri

Rajat K Tangri is a renowned Indian Fashion Designer and Celebrity Stylist specializing in high-end Western couture and prat for women and men. In 1988, Rajat landed in Australia to study The art of fashion. He has a degree of Bachelors in Design (Fashion). Later also got an Advanced Diploma (Textile Clothing and Production) from the prestigious Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He got trained under the prestigious Australian fashion industry names identified as Karen- Webster program director (RMIT fashion) and ex-festival director, LOréal Melbourne fashion festival. In 2004 before returning to Mumbai, he also gained local industry experience.

In 2005 he launched his label “Rajat K Tangri” creating exclusive designs for men and women projecting an artistic fusion of Indian design philosophy and technique with Western design concepts, a creative collaboration of Eastern and Western fashion. His creations are famous amongst celebrities in India as well as abroad. In May 2010, Rajat became part of the “I AM SHE Miss Universe India Pageant” as a fashion director. He got an opportunity to showcase his dress collection at Lakme fashion week. (2014), and Shootout at Wadala. In 2003 he won “The Young Designer Fashion Award” in the evening wear category by Sleepvention, an annual event held in Hamilton, Victoria. In 2015 he won Apsara Film Producers Guilds Awards for best costume designer for the movie Mary Kom. He retails clothes at Atos, Fuel, Dressing Room, Zoya and, Chamomile in India and Noir Desire, Corset in Riyadh, Cologne and, Poland internationally. Rajat owns a production studio in Mumbai and a store in Melbourne called Noir Desire.
