Amira Bhargava is an upcoming Indian Director known for her short film Aamer. She completed her graduation at St Stephen's College, Delhi and moved to Mumbai. Since the age of fifteen, she wanted to try her skills in the Film Industry. Amira's first film opportunity came when she was part of Sujoy Ghosh directed film Kahaani. She worked in the Production Team. Later, Amira worked in a drama film Fireflies, directed by Sabal Singh Shekhawat. She worked as an Assistant Director. Then Amira met Zoya Akhtar. She assisted Zoya Akhtar in the film Dil Dhadakne Do. Amira and Zoya Akhtar had enough time to share a bond as the shooting took for almost two years. Zoya Akhtar guided Amira to direct the first short film Aamer. The story follows a weakened kid, attempting to get by as a flower merchant in the city of Mumbai. The film Aamer screened in many international film festivals. It also selected at Ajyal Youth Festival in Doha. In the Anthology film Shor Se Shuruaat, Amira's short film was also a part. Shor Se Shuruaat is a compilation of seven different short films by seven different directors.
