Dhruva Harsh

Dhruva Harsh is an Indian director, producer, play writer, and a poet. He is exceptionally a talented man and his talents are not hidden from anyone. He was born on 17^th December 1989. He currently resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He was born in a Rajput family. He completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mankapur. He completed his education from the University of Allahabad popularly known as the Oxford of the East. He graduated from the Ewing Christian College, Allahabad. He then did his Masters in D.Phil in English Literature which comprised of the Mahabharata as the Contemporary Indian English Novel. He is an independent filmmaker. 

He has directed many short films, which have been a hit and are well received by the audience. The short films he has directed are 'Do I Exist: A Riddle' which released in 2019, HARSHIT which is known to be the best work he has done and it is also a short film released in 2015 and Honorable Mention, a short film released in 2015.

His movie HARSHIT has been streaming on the well known digital streaming services Hotsar with the big banner films and would soon be available on Amazon Prime, and Netflix. This film is based on the story from the collection ‘Song Without End and Other Stories’ by Neelam Saran Gaur. It is the Official Selection for the 21^st International Film Festival, Hyderabad; it was also selected for the Official Selection in the Ozark film Festival U.S.A. which was held in 2015.

He has also won some prestigious awards for Best Director, Best Actor, and Third Best Film Among 1111 Films from 105 countries for the movie HARSHIT in the 3^rd International Film Festival held in 2018 In Kolkata. He also received the award for the Best Screenplay for the movie HARSHIT in the National Short Film Festival held in 2018 in Kolkata. He also got an Honourable mention for the Best Screen Play in the Rolling Reels International Film Festival held in 2015 in Hyderabad, India.

He has also done a documentary named The Last Sketch Last Sketch is a Hindi television series aired on >> Read More... which is based on the hand-pulled rickshaws in Kolkata.
