Gourab is a director and filmmaker who works in the Bollywood film industry. He has also graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India. He also directed movies such as “Kalsubai,” which is a kind of ethnographic film providing deep insight into the legend of Mahadeo Koli Goddess Kalsu, and its story and identity remain imprinted in the minds of the tribal women even today. This film also shows the visual contrast between ancient and contemporary images of the goddess’s story. “Nehemich” is based on the story of a young girl who is thrown away from her village to a secluded hut to find her lover and belongs to a nomadic community that believes in returning a dead man in the form of the most beloved one.
