Prithviraj Das Gupta

Prithviraj Das Gupta is a famous Indian filmmaker who graduated from Delhi University. On his college, he was instrumental in setting up the Film society titled ' First Cut First Cut is a film- based program showcasing soon >> Read More... .' During his third year, he directed and edited several short films. After being associated with Indian tribal care operating in North East India, he started making documentaries. His movies are related to the social-economic tapestry of Indian life. His first, middle-length feature film, green blackberries, have been named in the list of the best children's films of 2020 by Kidz cinema. The film was also showcased at the Dharamshala international film festival (DIFF) and the 51st International Film Festival of India in the Indian panorama section. In 2021, it won the special mention award at Art House Asia.

He has directed multiple award-winning short films and digital films. He has also directed multiple branded content for clients like Star sports, ICICI Bank, Hotstar, and Epic channel, among others. He has produced promotional movies, and trailers for OTT platforms like Zee-5, Epic on and Docubay. In 2021, he founded Spinning World Productions. His upcoming web series is going to be released soon in 2022.
