Shantanu Anant Tambe is an upcoming director, screenplay writer, lyricist, story writer, and dialogue writer, known for films like Gunwali Dulhaniya (2019) and Majhi Shaala (2013). He wrote and directed Hindi films like Majhi Shaala (2013), Bhoot Wali Love Story (2018), Gunwali Dulhaniya (2019), Police and Crime (2021) and Pav Bhaji (2021). He is also writing the script for films like Hello Missed Call and Yaari Dosti 2. He also wrote and directed the coming-of-age Marathi film Yaari Dosti in 2016. Apart from being a director, he also acted in the 2021 television series Pav Bhaji. He received the Best Debut Director Film award in 2022.
