Shridhar completed his M.Des. in Film and Video Communication at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. Prior to that, he studied Visual Communication for his B.F.A. at the College of Art in New Delhi. Originating from Patna in Bihar, he completed a portion of his education in a residential school in Pilani, Rajasthan, and subsequently in Varanasi. This comprehensive education exposed him to a variety of situations and experiences that eventually inspired him to pursue photography and later filmmaking. He began making independent films and freelancing across the nation after completing his master's degree.
He worked as a feature film story developer for a short while in Mumbai before moving to the Himachal Pradesh highlands to serve as an assistant to actor and director
