Suryakant Tyagi is a director and cinematographer working in the Bollywood film industry. Suryakant started his career not as a director but, a cinematographer. He worked with Balaji productions at the start of his career with shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi where he was the cinematographer for about 4 episodes in 2008. During the same time he worked as a camera operator on Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki for many of their episodes and also did some other TV shows for Balaji productions. In 2014, he worked as a director pf photography on a Gujarati film called Saathiyo Chalyo Khodaldham.
In 2017, he made his directorial debut with GTS: Galti Sirf Tumhari. A story about a group of friends in college who fall for the same girl, and the fun and games take turn for the dark when this quickly turns into a game of deception and murder. In 2019, he worked as a cinematographer on the movie Khamiyaza, a story about a man who saves a social worker from murder attempts by a politician, and now gets into a game of cat and mouse with that same politician. The same year he released his second directorial film called Final Decision. He is currently working on his third and final film Dark Life.
