Arun Khore is a well-known Dalit historian and experienced journalist in Maharashtra. Arun Khore has extensive experience working for himself. He was out of work and concerned about his financial situation. He kept up his freelance writing, and one day he got a letter from Sakal's illustrious editor, SG Mungekar. A position as a sub-editor, a copy editor's entry-level position, was made available to him. Later in life, he rose to the editor position at four illustrious Marathi newspapers and published several books. He enjoyed using words to communicate his ideas, so he and two friends created a handwritten newsletter posted on the college noticeboard on national holidays like Independence Day Click to look into! >> Read More... and Republic Day, as well as freedom fighters' birth and passing anniversaries.

From January 1976 to June 1977, Khore worked as a postman at the Deccan Gymkhana Post Office. During this time, two of his articles were published in Sakal. He is highly involved in politics. Over the years, Khore covered the Dalit struggle, covering necessary agitations to rename Marathwada University in honor of Babasaheb Ambedkar. He described in a moving essay how family disputes led Dalit author Laxman Gaikwad to become homeless. This essay ultimately led to the Maharashtra government allocating a Mumbai apartment to Gaikwad under the 10% quota. Due to his frequent and thorough reporting on Dalit concerns, Kesari, a rival Marathi daily in the city, was compelled to hire a reporter only to cover Dalit matters, extending the area for such issues.

Khore has closely followed Prakash Ambedkar's attempts to broaden the Dalit movement from 1983, starting with his attempts to unite Dalits, Muslims, and other underprivileged groups to the creation of the Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh and the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. According to Khore, the Maharashtra Dalit movement would continue to experience division and "political gimmickry" unless Dalit leaders present a coherent political vision accompanied by an economic and social agenda. He is a strong, powerful Bollywood journalist.
