Vidya Jayant

Vidya Jayant is an actress and a casting director who hails from Hyderabad. She went to Madapati Hanumantha Rao Girls High School and then studied at Osmania University. Vidya later did a diploma in Advertising and Public Relations at Welingkar Institute of Management in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She went on to study Film and Media Studied at the Whistling Woods International - School of Media and Communication. She began working as an artist at films, modeling for TVC and print ad campaigns, and also began acting.

She is known for her role in the movie Red Gold (2014). Later, she became an artist in Cinema & Ads and a serial entrepreneur in 2012. Later, she became the co-founder and COO of the company Harabaag. In recent years, she is involved in making videos of fund managers and marketing promo videos, outlook videos, etc. as per their requirements in the best creative way possible. During her learning film making, she also produced a Diploma film.

Vidya is fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. She is married to Jayant Ramprasad Iyengar in 1991 and has a son named Pranay Jayant. Her likes include, her favorite book is An Ideal Wife; her favorite movie is Maya - A film by Prasad, and she supports Delhi Capitals as a team as they are her favorite. She likes to sing, and also play badminton.
