Dattaram Wadkar is an Indian music director. He was born in 1929 in Goa. He moved to Mumbai in 1942 to learn Tabla. He got lessons from his first guru, Pandit Pandharinath Nageshkar, and later on from Pandit Yashvant Kelkar. Pandit Kelkar introduced him to the Hindi film industry, and he joined as an assistant music director. . After that, Duttaram got a chance to be the solo music director of the movie Ab Dili Door nhi. One of his biggest successes is Aansoo Bhari Hai Yeh Jeevan Ki Raahen for the movie Parvarish. He has composed several other movies, such as Qaidi No. 911, hriman Satyawadi, and Ek Din Aadhi Raat. Due to some Medical Complications, he took his last breath at the age of 78 on 8th June 2007.
