Arjun Dhanraj is a versatile Indian artist who is a singer, songwriter, composer, guitarist, actor, writer, and voice-over artist He attended the Rishi Valley School and studied Visual Communication at SRM Arts & Science College in Kattankulathur, Chennai. His interest in music developed from a very young age when he started playing harmonica at age three and took up guitar at 10. He also works as a brand manager, collaborating with brands like Vox Amps, TC Electronic, D’Addario, PRS (Paul Reed Smith), and Furtados. He founded NerveRek, a progressive rock/ metal band, and is a guitarist in the band. He formed the band in 2003. The band started as a metal college band and has grown into a progressive / rock metal band based in Mumbai.

The band has participated in several college, and semi-professional competitions, notably NLS, Jipmer, IIT Saarang, Underground and Campus Rock Holders. They have also played at Razz in Mumbai. He has been recognized with awards for both Best Vocalist and Best Guitarist. Their single, “Flesh for Food” was featured in Absolute Indian Metal vol1, a compilation of metal albums, and their other song “Sky Mystify Me’ was featured in a Rolling Stones compilation album for Indian metal. In 2014, Arjun collaborated with his friend Roop Thomas to establish a new pop band named Arjun and the Teenage Men (ATM). The band (ATM) is an acoustic and electric pop rock band that delves into various music styles, from heavy metal to Bollywood.

The group made their debut with their self-produced, six-track EP named Shenanigans, which features the songs Open My Mind, written by Arjun Dhanraj, and She, a song that explores rape from three perspectives: that of the victim, the guilty, and the narrator.
