Vishal Kothari

Vishal Kothari grew up in a business class family and had no musical background. From childhood, he had an interest in music, which was seen since he was growing up. He received his training in music under the guidance of Dr Ram Deshpandeji.
 
 His musical career began with a stint in ZEE TV’s super hit show SA RE GA MA PA. There he bagged prizes for six consecutive shows which was a great achievement for him. He received a lot of appreciation. He won many collegiate and intercollegiate shows at state and national levels which helped him to get recognition in the country.

He was placed in people’s hearts and minds and got his first brush of fame and popularity with Indian Idol season 1. He was amongst the top ten singers.  He was honored by the Canadian Govt. at International Jazz Festival 2014. He also performed with Grammy Nominee Singer Dina Fanai. After that, there was no stopping him. His achievements include- Albums "Pal" and "Yaron" from Sony Bmg, "Dipawali Aayi Re" from Crescendo Music.  He sang in several devotional albums from T-Series in different languages (Hindi, Marathi, Kannada). He acted as a playback singer for Bollywood films like Mumbai.com, It's a Man’s World, Mukhbir and other films. He sang in Kannad films- Goli Maar and up coming Shatru.
