Sona Uniyal is a well-known theatre artist, model, playback singer, dubbing artist, RJ, producer, and director. Sona Uniyal was born in Mumbai, India. Sona did her schooling in Carman School, Dehradun. Sona is a commerce graduate from D.A.V. College, Dehradun. She also has a master’s degree in theatre from HNB Garwal University.
Sona was always drawn towards acting and theatre. During her school and college days, she was an active participant in dramas and skits. As a kid, Sona has been a part of the 1996 show, Antaakshari aired on ZeeTV where she was among the top 5 contestants. She was also among the top 3 models in the prestigious pageant show held by the Indian Institute of Fashion Technology. She has entertained her audience with her enchanting voice and singing talents for decades. She has performed with many groups of theatre, and her hard work and her dedication landed her in the lead role in a regional film named ‘Teri Saun’. She has also played the lead in a horror film named "Hantya”.
Her father B.G. Uniyal is an engineer and her mother, Bindu Uniyal is a homemaker.
