The work of making and showing movies was done by Kiran Mishra at the same age when he was studying in school. There was no money for his financial support. He has no technical nor an army of artists for his physical support. Just by joining some small, broken machine parts, using the radio tools, and compiling pictures on paper with the help of some electrical tools, he made a small film world with the help of many other such tricks in the Katra locality of Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram. At the time of graduation, there was revolutionary progress in his trend towards painting.

He started making more than one picture, and as a result, after graduating with good marks from Gorakhpur University, he was admitted to Agra University for postgraduate education in painting. He was the best student and obtained a master’s degree in the first class. Looking at his excellent qualifications, he got the opportunity to serve as a Professor in the Department of Arts at the same Gorakhpur University from where he took his art education. Pandit Kiran Mishra got the job, yet his mind was always worried. At the university where people consider themselves blessed after getting a job and consider themselves as the source of knowledge, he was neither feeling stagnant nor satisfied.

While teaching at Gorakhpur University, he got an invitation from Mumbai to write songs. This invitation flashed like lightning in his mind. Exhibitions of his paintings have been organized in the country and abroad. Through his songs and bhajans, he has created a special place in the film industry. In the famous TV serial Mahabharat, produced by eminent filmmaker and television serial producer Mr B R Chopra, people heard the wonder of his writing as a song. Pandit Kiran Mishra is known for Chaturnath (2019), Safaibaaz - The Scavenger (2021), and Mahima Shani Dev Ki (2008).
