Syed Sultan Ahmed proved versatility at its best by being the best in every field he entered. Syed Sultan Ahmed was born on October 2 and grew up in Bangalore. He attended St. Germain High School in Bangalore from 1982 to 1990. Sultan Ahmed pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Dayananda Sagar Institutions in 1993. He gained the yearning to become an entrepreneur during his college days. After graduating from college in 1999, Syed Sultan taught the school children the art of debating.

In 2015, Sultan Ahmed graduated his Entrepreneurs Masters Program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States. He worked as a Master Trainer in Dale Carnegie Institute, USA. He is happily married to Naina Sultan Ahmed. Syed Sultan Ahmed was hugely inclined towards teaching, and he realized the education system for children now a day’s focuses mainly on the curriculum and not on livelihood. So he imparted life skills to kids through cinema. Sultan Ahmed collaborated with the topmost young filmmakers in the country to produce films that teach the young kids about the significant issues. That’s how his journey with movies started. He started School Cinema, a production banner, which makes meaningful films for students, parents, and educators. For the last two decades, Syed Sultan Ahmed has produced more than a hundred and twenty films under his banner. His films have won nine international awards and also screened at three hundred and fifty plus film festivals that occur around the world.

Syed Sultan Ahmed is a proud recipient of the prestigious National Film Awards not just once or twice but six times. His movie, The Finish Line, grabbed the National film Award for being the Best Film on Sports in 2011. In the same year, another film, Red Building where the Sun Sets grabbed the award for the Best Film on Family Values in National Film Awards ceremony. For the third time, he received the National Film Awards from the President of India in 2013 for his movie Chasing the Rainbow under the category Best Promotional Film. Syed Sultans’s film Best Friends Forever, named as the Best Film on Family Values in 2015. The year 2016 saw two of his movies fetching National Film Awards. They chose the Waterfall as the Best Educational Film, and Little Magician won under the category Best Film on Family Values. Apart from National Film Awards, several of his films have won the Best Children’s Film Award in many Film festivals.

Syed Sultan Ahmed is the founder of LXL Ideas under which he creates and combines ideas regarding Film Pedagogy. He is also the inventor of the International Kids Film Festival, in which he tries to bring under one roof all the best children’s film for the students to enjoy. Sultan Ahmed has outstanding public speaking skills and has been a part of TedX Talks. Besides, he is also an avid traveler and loves bike riding and horse riding. Not everyone can change the world with their vision. Only those who will take a step to change it will succeed. So is Syed Sultan Ahmed. His way of educating children is sure to win big.
