Chelsi Behura

Chelsi Behura is a singer. She is known for her appearance in different singing reality shows. She was born on 13th March 2003 in Sikharpur, Cuttak, Odisha. She went to Lajpat Rai DAV Public School, Gandarpur, Cuttak. She has a sibling Rozline Behura. She had an interest in music from the beginning. She began learning music at the early age of five. She took training in Hindustani Classical music and Light Vocal music from Sasmita Mishra and Sarada Prasanna. Chelsi began performing with local music bands in Cuttak when she was in 5th standard.

In 2014, Chelsi participated in a singing reality show, Singing Superstar, which aired on Sathak Tv. Then in 2015, she appeared in Indian Idol Junior, in which she made into the top 60 contestants. Afterward, she participated in Sarthak TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. Chelsi became the 2 nd runner-up in the show. Her singing journey took her to participate in the Colors' singing reality show, Rising Star. Chelsi made it into the top 14 in the show; unfortunately, she got eliminated after that. Subsequently, she participated in Sony TV's famous singing reality show, Indian Idol season 11. In which she received colossal fame and love from both audience and judges. In the show, she made it into the top 15. Chelsi Behura is an inspiration for all the young girls out there.
